Classes are taught by Christina Newton who loves teaching yoga and has been practicing yoga for 25 years. She has a background in a number of Yoga Styles: Iyengar Yoga, a style of yoga that focuses on strength and alignment as a path to enlightenment, Vinyasa Yoga, a style of sequencing yoga postures that flows with the breath, and Ishta Yoga, a style of yoga which emphasizes philosophy and meditation.
The wonderful side effects that yoga offers you are more flexibility, strength and balance and a deep feeling of contentment. However, the most important aspect is the connection you experience to a deeper part of yourself, where the everyday business of living, the often present chatter of your thoughts, falls away, and you are left with a sense of what is enduring within you.
